First thing in the morning, yesterday, I started to transcribe a pattern I wanted to share with you... I tried to rush and my computer developed her own will or something... It became slower and slower... and I mean, it is practically new, the memory is not even close to be full and I was not on the Internet, I was just using plain open office... It took me nearly until my husband was back from work to complete the job, at that time it was already raining and I knew I was not going go to the repair center anymore. More over when I finally finished the pattern and saved, I wanted to go back to it to convert it to PDF, and the file would not open!!! I tried several times but it was totally lost... imagine my frustration... I just shut down the pc and tried to relax, we went to my parents for dinner... When I came back I still had in mind that file... Trird to open it but it didn't work, so I started all over again, thinking I could bring the pc to the clean up today. As I had saved the pictures and the images I used on the lost document and also had already decided everything from font to overall appereance, I just had to reproduce my job. Surprisingly It just took me about an hour to do it! I was just finishing it, when It happened again... I gave up!
First thing in the morning, today, I checked and the file was still there but some parts were deleted when last night I tried to cut and paste to put it in order. Today I took my time, I knew I had no chance to take the pc to that place anymore so, no rush... I finished, saved, converted to PDF, uploaded to 4 Shared and here I am telling you my journey to post today. Now I just finished, I'm thinking my PC is scared to go to the Doctor! Next time I'll just take it without advice...
I know this is a blog about crochet and crafts no about my experience with pcs but life is full of all of this nowadays and computers are the way we use to share, they deserve their space!
Ok, so... back to business: I'm glad to introduce to you my newest pattern:
Hello Kitten and friends fridgies
This is my first PDF pattern but if it works fine I will probably keep posting them the same way.
This is what the fridgies look like:
As you know my friend Kris loves Keroppi and Hello Kitty so she loved some of this, she said they look very much like them, and also the other one looks like Badtzmaru so I gave that one to my supervisor because she likes it.
Hope you enjoy it! Any questions... just ask!
This is awesome! You should do an entire line of fridge stuff! Its the first time I´ve ever seen such a thing.
